Scrum artifacts are designed to maximize transparency and adaptation opportunities for the whole scrum team. There are 3 artifacts in Scrum:
It is a dynamic and ordered list of all the pending work for the product. The Product Owner is responsible for its management, prioritization, and availability. Its content will be continuously growing and adapting to market changes, technology, improvements, etc.
Product Backlog refinement is the act of adding detail, estimation, and order to the Backlog’s items carried out by the Product Owner and the Development Team in collaboration.
Items at the top of the list have more priority than those at the bottom and they will be “Ready to Develop” when they are properly refined (defined) and ready to be planned in the coming sprint. An easy way to have the "Ready to Develop" items identified is using a "Backburner" list, which will contain all refined items ready to be developed.
As of v10 Copado provides both, a Backlog and a Backburner panel, to let you manage your backlog items through a powerful and intuitive tool that will allow you to move items between them, to Sprints and to other panels you wish to find useful. This tool is the Work Manager and you will find more information here.
It is a set of Product Backlog items included in the Sprint and represents the real-time picture of the state of the planned work for that iteration.
These items will define the product increment that the development team will be shipping at the end of the Sprint.
All items included in the Sprint Backlog must be defined and free of impediments for its implementation. If any impediment shows up during the sprint, the Scrum Master will take care of it to allow the team to be as much efficient as possible.
Any new work detected during the Sprint will be added to the Product Backlog to evaluate it for coming Sprints.
The development team owns the Sprint Backlog. This means that they will organize the work and how to achieve the goal within the fixed-length iteration (Sprint). During the Sprint, task boards and burndown charts will provide a graphical view of the current situation of the status of the sprint items.

The Increment is the Sprint result and will contain all the items planned for that Sprint. The achieved increment must be a viable product which meets the definition of “Done”.
The Product Owner will decide if the increment will be released or not.
