Cancel a deployment from CopadoWhen you are in the deployment record you will see a Cancel Deployment button.
This button will cancel any deployment step that didn't started yet but it will NOT cancel any deployment step In Progress. In progress steps will continue and completed steps will not be rolled back.
In order to cancel a deployment step currently in progress you need to click on the button View Deployment Status
In the Deployment Status page you should see a Cancel button. This Cancel button will become available once the deployment process starts in the target org.
Pressing the Cancel button will request the cancellation via the Metadata API to Salesforce. Sometimes even the Cancel button is pressed and deployment status change to "canceling", Salesforce will continue and deploy the changes. It could be that the cancel request was placed too late for Salesforce to stop it. At this point there is nothing else that Copado can do besides from request the cancellation and show the progress to the user.
