Copado CLI's Configuration Files

Updated 2 months ago by Copado Solutions

When working with the Copado CLI, Copado creates some configuration files that are used for context whenever you execute a command. These files can be found in the user’s root folder under a hidden folder named .copado.

copado-config.json (example)

{
    "copadousername": "username@copa.do.dev-1",
    "copadouserstoryid": "b1P0Z000007RTQnBUO",
    "copadouserstoryname": "US-0019845",
    "currentuser": "username@copa.do.dev-1"
}

copadousername: set when using sfdx copado:auth:set

currentuser: set when using sfdx copado:auth:setcopadouserstoryid: set when using sfdx copado:work:set

copadouserstoryname: set when using sfdx copado:work:set

username@copa.do.dev-1.json (example)

{
    "auth": {
      "copadousername": "username@copa.do.dev-1"
  },
    "config": {
       "defaultlistview": "Cli_Listview",
       "externalid": "Jira_Number__c"
